OUR MISSION

The mission of Georgetown Heritage is to serve as a community-supported educational organization that interprets and promotes the historical, recreational, and cultural resources of the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C.

Georgetown has played a unique and important role in the political, social, and economic development of our nation’s capital. We seek to tell that story, and the stories of the diverse community of individuals who have lived and worked here through historic tours, educational programming, and community events.
