Georgetown BID
Since its inception in 2014, Georgetown Heritage has been supported by the Georgetown Business Improvement District (BID). The BID provides annual funding, in kind staff support, and office space. The two organizations work closely together to achieve our complementary missions and make Georgetown a welcoming place.
C&O Canal National Historical Park
Under a cooperative agreement with the National Park Service, Georgetown Heritage delivers interpretive and educational programming on the C&O Canal. These programs include canal boat tours, walking tours, and special events. We also operate the C&O Canal NHP Georgetown Visitor Center from April through November. We are committed to maintaining a positive and collaborative relationship with the NPS.
